RE: Breakfast with Santa for the Opelousas Area Cerebral Palsy Clinic
Good morning!
Many of my friends know about the work I do delivering gifts as Santa Claus for the Opelousas Area Cerebral Palsy Clinic. It is the most inspiring and important charity that I am involved with. The Clinic has been open since 1955 (over 52 years!) and provides physical therapy treatments that are necessary for area children and adults, free of charge.

Nearly every single expense for the Clinic is paid for by the contributions from individuals like you, local companies, and The St. Landry-Evangeline United Way. Because all of the food and expenses related to the breakfast are donated, 100% of your donation goes directly to helping the special needs for the kids and adults. Our first year, the donations totaled around $22,500. Our second year, we reached $35,000. Last year, we reached $41,725. This year, our fourth annual, we want our donation to be extra special and I need your help. If we can reach $50,000 or more, I will personally donate an additional $5,000.
On Wednesday, December 5th, we will be having a Breakfast with Santa event at the Indian Hills Country Club. The hours will be from 7 AM until 9 AM. We will have celebrity chefs from restaurants throughout our Acadiana area as well as celebrity waiters. It will be a wonderful time to come out and spread the Christmas cheer with your friends from throughout the Acadiana. You will also meet the people who run the Clinic such as our Director Lynn Moreau as well as the children who benefit from your generosity and who really need your help.
Dirk Boudreaux, along with other members of the Opelousas Kiwanis Club will also be attending and helping as well as Charles Going, President of the Opelousas Area Cerebral Palsy Clinic, and a host of other organizations.
We are asking for a donation of $25 per person for those attending the breakfast but we’re hopeful you’ll open up your heart and pocketbook even more to help sustain a great local resource for our children. This is an event that really showcases local people helping a worthy local cause. FOR MORE TICKETS CALL 337 351-0732 for Andrew Guidroz.
Please take the time to return the enclosed questionnaire as to what time you plan on attending and the amount of your donation. Please remember that we want as many people as possible to come so tickets will also be sold at the door on the day of the event for anyone you can bring with you.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you on December 5th.
Sincerely,
Bobby "Santa Claus" Dupre
