Valero Refinery of Krotz Springs donated an overhang for the Clinic building

Statement from Valero:

"Opelousas Cerebral Palsy contacted the Valero Volunteer Council with a request to assist with the construction of a driveway and metal roof. After this project was adopted by the Council, Chris Kimble volunteered as project coordinator. He was able to contact local businesses (such as Angelle Concrete Company) to donate the material needed for this project. Then the call went out to the employees of Valero for volunteers to come out and build the roof and pour the foundation. Everyone was eager to help in any way they could. Several of our volunteers actually found hidden talents (see the picture of Charles, Judy and Rachel working on the concrete)! Those who could not come that day volunteered trucks and trailers to carry materials such as Jeff and Mona Morrow.

The volunteers at Valero are very happy to have had the opportunity to assist the Cerebral Palsy Clinic with this project and look forward to assisting in the future."
